From Other Instruments

I believe it's important to explore exercises from other instruments to expand our playing abilities. There are countless scale, arpeggio, and other exercises that fall so well on the guitar it's almost like they were written for our instrument.

Adapting these exercises for the guitar gives us ways to practice that we don't get from guitar exercises alone. It also gives us ways to explore multiple positions on the fretboard, a variety of shifts, and ways to build velocity.

Take a look at the exercises here, learn about and practice these adaptations, and explore what excites and interests you.
